G.U.K. is your Compass to Learning

The first learning community is the one we are born into. Then we attend institutions of learning or we may join a sports team. Some of us study dance, music and/or art. As parents we know our kids are influenced by many things outside the house. As educators, we know students learn best when they are in a supportive environment that challenges them to explore their ideas and express their thoughts. Geraldine’s University of Knowledge creates a learning community that brings together the nurturing of family, wisdom and education.

G.U.K. meet families and individuals where they are in their learning practices. With the care of the family, G.U.K. staff helps people of all ages create a learning environment at work, school, home, etc. where they can achieve the most positive outcome. We help navigate through the theories of education, so knowledge can be obtain, applied and used.

G.U.K. discusses success and how to “fail forward” Our mentors work on the specific skill each individual needs. We are more than tutors. We work holistically to help the individual and the family plan for the student’s success in school, college, and his/her/their future. There is no knowledge wasted and everyone’s thoughts are valued.

G.U.K. es tu Brújula para Aprender

La primera comunidad de aprendizaje es aquella en la que nacemos. Luego asistimos a instituciones de aprendizaje o podemos unirnos a un equipo deportivo. Algunos de nosotros estudiamos danza, música y/o arte. Como padres sabemos que nuestros hijos están influenciados por muchas cosas fuera de casa. Como educadores, sabemos que los estudiantes aprenden mejor cuando se encuentran en un entorno de apoyo que los desafía a explorar sus ideas y expresar sus pensamientos. La Universidad del Conocimiento de Geraldine crea una comunidad de aprendizaje que reúne el fomento de la familia, la sabiduría y la educación.

G.U.K. conocer a familias e individuos en qué punto se encuentran en sus prácticas de aprendizaje. Con el cuidado de la familia, G.U.K. El personal ayuda a personas de todas las edades a crear un entorno de aprendizaje en el trabajo, la escuela, el hogar, etc. donde puedan lograr el resultado más positivo. Ayudamos a navegar a través de las teorías de la educación, para que se pueda obtener, aplicar y utilizar el conocimiento.

G.U.K. analiza el éxito y cómo “fallar hacia adelante”. Nuestros mentores trabajan en la habilidad específica que cada individuo necesita. Somos más que tutores. Trabajamos de manera integral para ayudar al individuo y a la familia a planificar el éxito del estudiante en la escuela, la universidad y su futuro. No se desperdicia conocimiento y se valoran los pensamientos de todos.
